Risk Management

Hands off the red bag.

Every set of hands that touch red-bag waste pose a risk—not just to those hands, but to the hospital, its employees and patients, and the environment. The only way to be sure RMW disposed of properly and safely is to keep them in trusted hands.

The traditional way to dispose of biohazardous waste involves three key points of concern:

  1. The waste piles up in the hospital in overflowing rooms, waiting for pick-up day. These rooms are dangerous to enter or even go near.
  2. The waste is transported. Sensitive documents and disposable equipment can get lost on the side of the road. Biohazardous waste can be strewn about the environment.
  3. The waste is processed in a batch autoclave. Batch autoclaves have been shown to be ineffective by STAATT.

Peerless Waste Solutions provides the answer to all three: on-site, continuous feed autoclaves. Medical offices can place the M1 almost anywhere for the easy destruction of medical waste and other materials including disposable medical instruments.

For larger volumes, the M2 and M3 can be placed near the site of waste creation for safe destruction. The E Series and D Series are also on-site units tailored to specific needs.

When medical waste is destroyed on site, there is no overflowing storage room, no risky transportation of waste, and no ineffective processing of the waste. When the waste stays in trusted hands, everybody wins.
